Jareda Sullivan, 59, of Metropolis, passed away Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011 at 8:29 p.m. at Lourdes hospital in Paducah.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14 at Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis with Rev. Jack Russell officiating.

Burial will follow at Cannon Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Meyer, Joe Meyer, Adam Meyer, Paul Martin, Jimmy Jones, Eddie Johnson and John Jaco.

Mrs. Sullivan was born on Feb. 4, 1952 to John and Louise Whitman Jaco II. They preceded her in death.

Jareda was a homemaker and a member of Waldo Baptist Church in Massac County.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Donald Sullivan of Metropolis; one daughter, Donna Stafford and husband Kendel of Metropolis; one son, Donald Sullivan Jr. and wife Joni of Metropolis; a special family friend, Jimmy Jones of Metropolis; three grandchildren, Josh Stafford and wife Rachael and Chasidy and Kalissa Sullivan, all of Metropolis; one great-grandson, Noah Stafford of Metropolis; three sisters, Esther Sullenger and husband Eddie and Libby Meyer and husband Jerry, both of Metropolis, and Pam Beunttner of Maystown: and three brothers, Eldon Jaco, Danny Jaco and wife Lou Ann and John Jaco III and wife Donna, all of Metropolis.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Laschaun Scott.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
