At 3:30 p.m. Sunday, a passerby noticed a female lying in the front yard of 7865 Ogden Landing Rd. in West Paducah. The driver stopped to check on the woman, found her to be unresponsive and called 911. Sheriff's deputies, West McCracken Fire and Mercy Regional Ambulance Service responded.
The victim had severe head and facial injuries and was not breathing. Deputies began CPR when they arrived and continued until other EMS personnel arrived. She was transported to Western Baptist Hospital and later flown to Vamderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tenn. for life threatening injuries.
