Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Gerelyn Henson; one son, Jerome Henson and wife Karen of Pitkin; one daughter, Desiree Beeson and husband Bill of Elizabeth, La.; one grandson; three granddaughters; one great-grandson; three brothers, Gene Henson and Gerald Henson, both of Brookport, and Donnie Henson of Metropolis; three sisters, LaVerne Baker of Satsuma, Fla., Earlene Hertter of Metropolis and Mary Hudson of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Evelyn Henson; and two brothers, Lowell Henson and Kenneth Henson.
There was no visitation or funeral service per Mr. Henson’s request.
