Funeral service will be held at noon Friday at Brookport Funeral Home with Elder Willis Jordan officiating,
Burial will follow at Shady Grove Community Cemetery.
Mrs. Jordan was born May 26, 1937 in Knoxville, Tenn.
She will be missed dearly by her family, friends and her beloved dog, Mickey.
She was known to all for her thoughtfulness that she had for others.
She loved to cook, tend to her flowers and work in her garden.
She retired from Allied-Signal after 21 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Sherry Jordan and Natasha Lowery, both of Brookport, and Cindy Broderdorp and husband Bill of Metropolis; two sons, Phillip Jordan and Craig Jordan, both of Brookport; one brother, Glen Webb of East Moline; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Jordan; her father, O.B. Webb; her mother and stepfather, Lorena and Booker Head; her adoptive dad, James Morris; and three sons, Dale Jordan, Ronald Jordan and Ricky Morris.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour on Friday at the funeral home.
