The Patriot baseball team is off to a quick start with wins over Pope County, Century and Carrier Mills.

The season opener was a 10-0 whitewash of Pope with Caleb Crim and Dalton Mitchell combining for a two hit, 12 strikeout, five inning shutout.

Crim went the first four innings and Mitchell mopped up by striking out the side in the fifth.
