Mrs. Dufour was a member of Eastland Baptist Church in Metropolis and was a member of the Democratic party, participating in both national and local politics.
She belonged to the Red Hat Society.
Survivors include two sons, Deon Dufour and wife Alice of Paducah and Frankie Dufour and wife Mary of Metropolis; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Bernice Yates of Metropolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and LaBerta Yeager Thompson; her husband, Frank Dufour; and two brothers, Bob and Lloyd Thompson.
Graveside service was held Monday at Metropolis Memorial Gardens with Rev. Brian Anderson and Rev. Dan Haun officiating.
Pallbearers were Ted Holder, Mike Bruce, Richard Smith, Dale Eastwood, Clarence Anderson and Michael Eastwood
Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home of Metropolis was in charge of arrangements.
