Mr. Marshall was general manager for Huddle House in Paducah and Metropolis.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Marshall of Metropolis; his mother, Gracie F. Hall Marshall of Kenosha, Wis.; two daughters, Shannon L. Goss of Metropolis and Barbara Lynn Marshall of Illinois; two sons, James Marshall of Zion and John Edward Marshall of Illinois; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Candice Bomkamp of Kenosha, Linda Gay Marshall of Waukegan and Nancy DeLuca of Winthrop Harbor; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Homer Marshall; one daughter, Lori Marshall; and one grandson, Stephen Marshall.
There is no funeral service or visitation planned at this time.
Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis is in charge of arrangements.
