According to Honeywell spokesman Peter Dalpe, Honeywell will begin recalling laid off employees back to work later this week as the company proceeds with activities related to its pre-planned annual maintenance shutdown.

"At this time, the facility plans to recall approximately 100 employees, including approximately 85 union employees," said Dalpe in a written statement.

"The company is continuing its inspection of the facility and its investigation into the damage to certain equipment, but has determined that it is now safe to recall employees needed to begin the annual maintenance work," he said.
