Mrs. Bromer moved from Robbinsville, N.J. to Metropolis in 2009 to be with family members. She was a retired New Jersey state worker and a former H&R Block office manager. She was of the Catholic faith and also attended Word of Life Tabernacle.
Mrs. Bromer will be sadly missed by family and friends who knew her positive determination in life and her commitment to God.
She spent the majority of her time volunteering to help others through her life. Her smile and laugh were infectious and made her someone you could not help but love.
Survivors include one brother, George Kish and his wife JoAnn of Florida; one sister, Barbara Beckner of Arizona; one nephew, David Godfrey and his wife Sherry of Joppa; nephew Matthew Kish of Florida; nephew John Beckman and his wife Carmen of Arizona; niece Joan Beckman-Foley and her husband Max of Arizona; niece Kimberly Armenti and her husband Jason of New Jersey; nephew Robert Godfrey of Pennsylvania; niece Barbara Godfrey of Paducah; and one brother-in-law Richard Bromer and his wife Jean of Lawrenceville, NJ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Robert Bromer; her parents, George and Frances Kish; and a sister and brother-in-law, Albert and Kathleen Godfrey.
Visitation was held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Word of Life Tabernacle. Funeral service was held Monday in Allentown, N.J. with burial following at Princeton Memorial Park in Robbinsville.
Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah was in charge of arrangements.
