Although drug testing was not addressed, the topic of meal prices was. Hatfield explained last year the price had gone up 10 cents, and his recommendation was the same for the upcoming school year. The board approved a motion increasing all meal prices by 10 cents.
The cost for a kindergarten through eighth grade breakfast will be $1.20, ninth through 12th grade breakfast will be $1.45. The kindergarten through 8th grade lunch will now be $1.80 and ninth through 12th grade lunch is $1.95. The cost for an adult lunch also increased to $2.35.
