Survivors include her daughter, Darta Ann “Dody” McCoy Hibbs and husband David of Metropolis; one grandson, Evert Gordan Anderson, stationed at Great Lakes Naval Base, Chicago; four sisters, Mary Stout Griffey, Betty Stout Davis and Patricia Stout Seagraves, all of Metropolis, and Carolyn Sue Stout Amos of Boca Raton, Fla.; one stepgranddaughter, Deborah Sue McCoy Ames and husband Dave and daughter Marcy of Stillman; several nieces and nephews; and a dear, beloved friend, Florence Moore of Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fannie Mae Littlemeyer Stout Barter and Greene Stout; her husband, Evert Gordan “Doc” McCoy; two brothers, Paul Revere Stout and Glendall Fredrick Stout; two sisters Donna Kay Stout and Verna Loraine Stout Bramlett; her brother-in-law, Floyd Griffey; and other family members and loved ones.
A celebration of her life was held July 21 at her home. Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
