Mary Kohl Hollis, 90, of Brookport, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, at 7 a.m. at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Metropolis.

Graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery in Lone Oak, Ky. on Monday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Larry Lunsford and Rev. Larry Call officiating.

Mary was born on Christmas Day in Whistler, Ala.

Mary is survived by three sons, George Earl Cooper of North Fort Meyers, Fla., Elvin Lonnie Cooper Jr. and his wife Arla of Palmdale, Calif. and Robert Winston Cooper and his wife Jeanne of Bend, Ore.; one stepson, Edward Hollis of Metropolis; eight grandchildren; two stepgrandsons; and 15 great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Beulah Louise Kohl Sr.; her husband, Raymond Merle Hollis; prior husband, Elvin L. Cooper Sr.; her brother and sister-in-law, George Kohl Jr. and Elizabeth Farrow Kohl; one sister and brother-in-law, Dovelyn and E.C. Green Sr.; one nephew, E.C. Green Jr. of Brookport; and one niece, Barbara Green.
