Johanna is survived by her father, Terry Waid and wife Diane; her mother, Heldi Sofia Waid; three sisters, Destinee Waid, Rachel Kennedy and Kristin Ermel; two brothers, Tim Ermel and wife Paula and Zach Ermel; her grandparents, Josephine Waid, Denny and Juanita Lingle and Mr. and Mrs. Palacia; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Joe Waid.
Funeral service was held Thursday at Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis with Rev. Don LaBrot officiating.
