There will not be a funeral service.
Survivors include one daughter, Cindy Boggess Stewart and husband Barry of Louisville, Ky.; two grandchildren, David Wayne Herron and wife Shawna and Melissa Boggess, all of Metropolis; three great-grandchildren, Tyler and Taylor Herron and Brooke Roland, all of Metropolis; two brothers, Dennis Shelton of Lamar, Colo. and David Shelton of Barberville, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Pearl Shelton; one daughter, Kathy Rohr; and two brothers, Denver Shelton and Dale Shelton
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Brookport Funeral Home.
