Harris begins job with LPGA

While it may not be the dream job that she hoped for, Chelsea Harris’ new job as the coordinator of teaching and club professional member services at the LPGA headquarters in Daytona Beach, Fla. may turn out to be a “dream job” in its own right.

Like every other young athlete Harris’ dream job was to play professionally, in her case, on the LPGA Tour.

But a wrist injury put that dream on the back burner. Harris joins the LPGA as Austin Peay University’s most decorated female golfer.

A four time All-OVC golfer and 2010 Female Golfer of the Year, Harris was also named a 2011 Female Legends Award winner as the Athletic Department’s most valuable female athlete.
