Host school Marshall County broke on top by an 8-3 count and led 27-19 at half. Massac was able to cut the lead to six at 43-37 with just over two minutes left on a Daz Nickerson three-pointer, but with the Marshals strolling to the line in the waning moments, Massac was unable to close the gap and lost by the final margin of 52-39.
