Mr. Anderson was a corporal in the U.S. Army, serving from 1953 through 1955 as an engineer foreman.
He worked for Maloney Electric until 1974 before joining McDonnell Douglas as a tool-and-die maker. He retired from McDonnell Douglas in 1996.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Deloris Fern Anderson; one daughter, Deborah Lynne Ferguson; three sons, Gary Wayne Anderson, Robert Steven Anderson and David Mitchell Anderson; his grandchildren, Alicia Jenna and Eric Shea Parks; Bradly Wayne and Jessica Donise Anderson; and Mark David and Eric Mitchell Anderson; and several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Mae Anderson; two brothers, Howard Anderson and Eugene Anderson; and four sisters, Helen Little, Lois Little, Aline Wilke and Hazel Fox.
Funeral service was held Sunday at Hutchens Mortuary in Florissant, Mo. Burial was held Monday at Anderson Cemetery near Karnak.
