Mr. Burd was a member of the Eagles Club of Paducah.
Survivors include two daughters, Paula Hoolihan and Megan Averitt; one son, Charles Preston Burd; four grandchildren, Isabella Hoolihan, Cannon Hoolihan, Maggie Hoolihan and Ellie Weathers; four brothers, Michael Fasolo and wife Linda, Danny Fasolo and wife Zandra, Charles Ernie Burd and James D. Hatton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Ruth Ward Burd.
Visitation was held Saturday at Brookport Funeral Home. There was no funeral service.
