Mr. Davidson retired from Metropolis Harrah’s Casino.
Survivors include his parents, William and Violet Sheffer Davidson of Metropolis; one son, William C. Davidson and wife Shilo of Waterbury, Conn.; one daughter, Frances Dorso of Prospect, Conn.; five grandchildren, Adoria and Sophia Davidson, both of Waterbury, and Chelsea, Brooke and Nicholas Dorso, all of Prospect; one sister, Elizabeth Czarnecki and husband John of Metropolis; one brother, Mark Davidson of Metropolis; and several nieces and nephews, including Shawn Czarnecki of Metropolis.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Scott Davidson.
A memorial service was held Monday at Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis with Rev. Alan Milligan officiating.
