She was preceded in death by her first husband, Otis Baker. Together they reared their children, Vincent and Charlotte, on the family farm in Homberg. She later married Willis Eleam and resided in Metropolis.
She is also survived by three grandchildren, Gwyn, Deirdre and Mark; nine great-grandchildren, Andrew, Autumn, Audrey, Dylan, Jared, Jordan, Brittney, Kelsey and Taylor; and two great-great-grandchildren, Lilly and Skylan.
Graveside service was held Thursday, Jan. 3 at Prospect Cemetery in the Hodgeville community in Pope County with Kevin Richerson officiating. Aly Funeral Home in Golconda was in charge of arrangements.
