Kevin Lynn Hausman, 60, of Metropolis, passed away at 11:37 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis.
Burial will follow at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens.
Kevin enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was an avid huntsman and fisherman.
He was an Army veteran that served during peace time.
Kevin retired as an operator after 26 years at Honeywell, where he gained the nickname “Gravy.”
Survivors include two sons, David Hausman of Brookport and Deric Hausman of Metropolis; two daughters, Doris Wickett and husband Brian of Topeka, Kan. and Donna Keeling and husband Todd of Brookport; nine grandchildren, Timothy Wickett, Kaitlyn Keeling, Dylan Hausman, Hannah Keeling, Layla Keeling, Connor Keeling, Haylee Salcedo, Lacie Hausman and Jacob Hausman; three sisters, Paulette Stokes, Karen Friese and Sara Kimmel; five brothers, Mark Pogue, Scott Pogue, Stanley Little, Harvey Little and Kevin Little; his mother and stepdad, Margaret and Thomas Dan Pogue of Metropolis; his stepmom, Evelyn Hausman of Metropolis; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marilyn Dawes Hausman; and his father, Paul Hausman.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
