What a strange game.

Massac County, despite being without the services of Kaylee Childers who is still nursing a bum ankle and Lauren Bunting who left early with a badly bruised proboscis from an errant elbow, overcame a severe case of lethargy to post a 45-35 win over the young and undersized Lady Redbirds of West Frankfort.

A game that was figured to be a blowout and was never really in doubt despite the slim leads, actually went down to the last few minutes with the outcome still up in the air, sort of.

If you saw it you know what I mean. A very strange game 45-35, for 80 total points.

Between the two teams there were 13 three pointers tossed in and a total of 17 free tosses made.
