Mr. Bickham was a member of First United Methodist Church in Metropolis, and he retired from Cargill Grain Co.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne Bickham Jr. and wife Vivian of Temple, Texas and William Bickham of Brookport; four grandchildren, Wayne Bickham III of Dallas, Texas, Tony Bickham of Austin, Texas, Angela Bickham of Paducah and Kent Bickham of Brookport; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Josephine Stine Bickham; his wife of 71 years, Marjorie Bickham; one daughter-in-law, Joyce Bickham; one sister, Irene Carpenter; one brother, Glenn Bickham; and an infant brother.
Graveside service was held Saturday at Metropolis Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jeff Bealmear officiating.
