Born Sept. 19, 1960 in Hopkinsville, Mr. Francies was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Cox Francies; one daughter, Andrea Kay Francies of Metropolis; two stepdaughters, Karen Wilds and husband David of South Fulton, Tenn. and Emily McClure and husband Markus of Water Valley; one stepson, Michael Akers and wife Lori of South Fulton, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; his mother, Frances June Powell Francies of Elkton, Ky.; and two brothers, Nathan Francies and Steven Francies, both of Elkton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arvil Ray Francies; and one brother, Randy Francies.
Funeral service was held Tuesday at Water Valley Pentecostal Tabernacle with Rev. Randy McClure, Bro. David Wilds and Rev. Markus McClure officiating. Burial followed at Water Valley Pentecostal Tabernacle Cemetery.
Hornbeak Funeral Chapel of Fulton, Ky. was in charge of the arrangements.
