Louise Schwieger Golightly, 94, of Olmsted, passed away Sunday night, March 24, 2013 at 11:05 p.m. at Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Golightly was born Feb. 9, 1919 in Olmsted. Her parents were Otto and Louise Dagner Schwieger. Louise and Rev. Edward Feisal were united in marriage on March 15, 1952. During their 19 years together, they pastored churches in Latham, Mo. and Long Point, Lomax, Tallula, Chapin and Gerlaw in Illinois throughout their ministry.Louise was a licensed cosmetologist. She attended beauty school in Springfield and then opened her own shop in Olmsted, beginning Jan. 1, 1972. She retired on Aug. 15, 1982.

Louise and Vernon Golightly Sr. were married Aug. 15, 1982. She was a member of the Olmsted United Methodist Church and she enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include one sister, Ruth Wasson of Metropolis; four nephews, Murray Schwieger of Marion, Ark., Brad Schwieger of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Bruce Schwieger of Olive Branch and Jim Bagby of Paducah; four nieces, Ruth Ann Allcock and Dana Schwieger, both of Cape Girardeau, Becky Davis of Grand Chain and Robin Shelton of Paducah; and one stepson, Vernon Golightly Jr. of Barlow, Ky.

Mrs. Golightly was preceded in death by her first husband, Rev. Edward Feisal on Feb. 13, 1971; her second husband, Vernon Golightly Sr. on Aug. 26, 1993; her parents, Otto and Louise Dagner Schwieger; four brothers, Cecil, Norman, Raymond and Loren Schwieger; one sister, Thelma Bagby; and one niece, Paula Schwieger.

Funeral service was held March 27 at Wilson Funeral Home with Phil Davis officiating. Burial followed at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Villa Ridge.
