You kind of knew it was coming. After the April 2 walk-off win against Harrisburg and on the heels of a couple of Massac County conference losses, Monday’s rematch with the Bulldogs was a statement game for both teams.

One could only hope that Massac County could catch lightning in a bottle again. It sort of happened . . . sort of.

Massac took Harrisburg right down to the wire again, but this time the homestanding ‘Dogs grabbed the win in the last at bat.
