Massac County’s baseball team recovered from the tough loss to Harrisburg last week to put up a 5-3 win over Murphysboro on April 16 and a thrilling come-from-behind 3-2 win over Herrin on Monday.

In the win at Murphy, Josh Wetzel led the game with a double and got Massac on the board in the first inning.

Bryce McClellan singled in Jay Benard and Dalton Mitchell in the third inning giving Massac a 3-1 lead.
