What had been a somewhat surprisingly good season for Massac County’s baseball team came to a bitter end Thursday at Harrisburg’s Dorris Heights Baseball Complex.

Vienna pulled off the upset and beat Massac by a score of 11-8 in the first game of regional tournament action.

Vienna used a couple of hits, a couple of walks and a hit batsman to plate two first inning runs.
