Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis with Rev. Louis Brinker officiating. Burial will follow at Metropolis Memorial Gardens.
Brian was a kid who could bring joy to those around him.
He was a very accomplished musician and singer who played trumpet in the high school band and was student director.
He managed several hotels, one being the Anita Bryant’s Hotel and Theatre in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
His legacy includes his music, laughter, ability to be a friend to everyone and love of his family.
Brian is survived by his parents, Larry and Sandy Killman Howell; one brother, Shawn Howell of Metropolis; one uncle, Mike Killman and wife Shirley of Ecuador, South America; and numerous cousins.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday at the funeral home.
