J-MG board receives good news

The Joppa-Maple Grove 38 School Board held its regular monthly meeting on Aug. 26, hearing various reports from the Adequate Yearly Progress results to a balanced budget for 2014.

After approval of the financial reports, activity funds, bills and payroll, the board received the principal and superintendent reports and updates.

During the principal’s report, Principal Jason Ronna discussed with the Board Adequate Yearly Progress results for both Joppa Junior/Senior High School and Maple Grove Elementary School.

Both schools and the district continue to make Adequate Yearly Progress toward the No Child Left Behind goals.
