Jack Wayne Howle, 71, of West Paducah, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013 at Lourdes hospital in Paducah.

Mr. Howle worked at several area banks until his retirement. He was employed by Citizens Bank and Trust Co. for 17 years, where he was promoted to manager of the loan department and served as vice president of Peoples Bank in LaCenter, Ky. for 13 years. He was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church, was former president of West McCracken Lions Club and served on the board of directors of West McCracken County Fire Department and the Ballard County Country Club.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Carol Ann Cooper Howle; five children, Candy Holloran and husband Tim of Fairview, Tenn., Tammy Souder and husband Ricky of West Paducah, Jacquie Mantle and husband Mike of Bardwell, Ky., Terry Howle and wife Debbie of Baxter, Tenn. and Kent Howle and wife Jennifer of Kevil, Ky.; one sister, Dorothy George of Brookport; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Jimmy Ellis; one sister-in-law Donna Korte and husband Kent; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Flora Wilma Davenport Howle; and one sister, Gwen Ellis.

Funeral service was held Saturday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home in Paducah with Rev. Bill Miller officiating. Burial followed at Newton Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
