Betty was a retired beautician, having owned Lady B Beauty Shop for over 40 years.
She was also a member of First Baptist Church in Metropolis and the Heritage Homemakers.
Survivors include two daughters, Virginia “Ginger” Storm Griffey and husband Bob and Karla Kay Storm Hahn, both of Metropolis; six grandchildren, Heather Ann Rottmann and husband Darian of Metropolis, Ryan Andrew Hahn and wife Millie of Paducah, Grant Richard Hahn of Chicago, Alex Kent Hahn of Murray, Ky., Kristi Lynn Stepter and husband Kevin of Smyrna, Tenn., and Nicholas Dwayne Griffey and wife Tracy of Metropolis; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Yvonne Wilkes and husband Jerry of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Brea and Ida Irene Smith Stockton Sr.; her husband, Bennie Richard Storm; one sister, Emily Pearl Hudson; and her brother, Lloyd Brea Stockton Jr.
Funeral service was held Saturday at First Baptist Church in Metropolis with Rev. Louis Brinker and Bro. Jack Hankins officiating. Burial followed in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens.
