Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Community Christian Church in Metropolis with Rev. Mike Hardison officiating. There will be no burial.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 20 years, Debbie Riddle of Metropolis; one daughter, Amy Riddle of Asheville, N.C.; one son, Lucas Riddle of Metropolis; three stepchildren, Krista Huckelberry and husband Paul of Metropolis, Rebecca Mercer and husband Silas of Asheboro, N.C. and Kelly Hunsaker and wife Michelle of Vienna; 10 grandchildren, Josef and Carissa Huckelberry, Maleia Evans, Maia Hayden, Kelsey and Kamryn Hunsaker and Silas, Sabrina, Abbey and Jade Mercer; one great-granddaughter, Lillie Huckelberry; and one sister, Candy Overby of Henderson, Ky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Rosemary Clancey Riddle; one stepbrother, Terry Simmons; one sister, Jill Riddle; and brother-in-law, Danny Overby.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis. An Elks funeral ritual will be at 7 p.m.
