The rubber match of this year’s Massac County-Harrisburg series went to the Patriots Friday night.

After the two teams exchanged lop-sided wins earlier this season, Friday night’s affair at Harrisburg had a large element of the unknown. Not for long though.

With Jalen Roundtree leading a second quarter onslaught, the Pats claimed a 12-point halftime lead they never relinquished.

The Pats methodically held off every second half run Harrisburg managed and weren’t seriously threatened in the second half, posting a 77-65 win.
