Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5 at Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis with Rev. Mike Hardison officiating.
Burial will follow at Hillerman Baptist Church Cemetery.
Sue was a member of Community Christian Church in Metropolis and a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, where she was the longest standing member in Massac County.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Eugene Fletcher of Metropolis; one daughter, Deidra Jacobs and husband John of Metropolis; one son, Stephen Fletcher and wife Merlina of Metropolis; seven grandchildren, Erica Rosas and husband Ed of Pensacola, Fla., Jacolyn Jacobs of Chattanooga, Tenn., Summer LeClaire and husband Johan of Paducah, Matt Armstrong and wife Brittany of Orlando, Fla. and Mickey Jacobs and Chelsea, Jared Armstrong and wife Leslie and Blair Armstrong and wife Candace, all of Metropolis; four great-grandchildren, Izabella and Elliana LeClaire, both of Paducah, and Wilke Armstrong, and Carson Jacobs, both of Metropolis; two brothers, John Rice and wife Sue of St. Peters, Mo. and Jerry Rice of Metropolis; several nieces and nephews; one aunt; and a close friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Sarah Rush Rice; one sister, Mary Lou Rice; and two brothers, Thomas “Ced” Rice and Robert Rice.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
