Rosalie “Rosie” Dilts, 71, of Macomb, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at her home.

Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 28 at Calvert City Cemetery in Calvert City, Ky. with Rev. Jamie Broome officiating.

Born Sept. 6, 1942 in Hancock County, Ill., Mrs. Dilts was a graduate of Mendon High School and worked in retail sales at County Market. 

Survivors include her husband, Ralph Walker of Macomb; her children, Tony Spilker, Kelly Windoffer and Shannon Walker, all of Quincy; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Janice “Jan” Miller of Macomb, Carolyn Ellerman of Mendon and MariLea “Snooks” Lowe of Carthage; one aunt, Gladys Lanning of Mendon; one brother-in-law Robert Walker; one nephew, Darrell Walker and wife Carla of Paducah and their children, Amber Holly and husband Jeremy of Metropolis and Chaney and Kennedy Walker; and one niece, Casey Reeves and husband Roger of Padcah  and their son Gage of Paducah; and several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard “Ben” and Clarice “Maxine” Miller Appeldorn; and one daughter, Cindy Cogburn.

There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3140 Parisa Dr., Paducah, KY 42003.

Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
