None of those things seem to matter now as Metropolis Post 306 Legion baseball team enters final round of district play in Carmi.

Coming off a 19-2 spanking of Fairfield and a 5-3 win over Louisville, located in the Clay County/Flora area, Post 306 was set to do battle with number 1 seed Carrier Mills on July 8, but heavy rain washed out that day’s games and pushed the entire district playoff schedule back one day.
