Anna worked several years at Southern Seven Head Start and Massac Nursery and was a member of Park Street Church of Christ in Metropolis.
Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Werner and husband Kevin of Brookport; two sons, James Holley and wife Lisa of Lawrenceburg, Indiana and William “Billy” Holley and wife Julie of Metropolis; five grandchildren, Ashley and Kyle Holley, Jared Medley and wife Madelynne, Dalton Werner and Jason Holley; two great-granddaughters, Emma and Macii Medley; seven sisters, Paula Kilgore and husband Gary and Betty Norwood, all of Metropolis, Janet MacDonald of Belleville, Lucy Carlyle and husband Donnie of Collinsville, Dorothy Sowders and husband Jerry of West Paducah, Mary Burke and husband Bill of St. Louis, Missouri and Barbara Downes of Reidland; five brothers, Kenneth Sweitzer and wife Suzie and Harold Sweitzer and wife Kelly, all of Collinsville, Paul Sweitzer of Caseyville, George Sweitzer and wife Kathy of Fairview Heights and Roy Sweitzer of St. Louis; one sister-in-law, Debra Lewis and husband Gary of Metropolis; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Sweitzer and Opal Harris Jerdon; her husband of 45 years, Jimmie Dale Holley; and one brother-in-law, Keith Norwood.
Funeral service was held Friday at Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis with Ron Gulley officiating.
Burial followed at Metropolis Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Jared Medley, Dalton Werner, Paul Sweitzer, Harold Sweitzer, George Sweitzer, Kenneth Sweitzer and Roy Sweitzer.
