Couple will wed Feb. 14 at the River Heritage Museum


Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Pamela Faughn, of Hamletsburg, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Lynn Thomas to Joshua Todd Hemphill, son of William Dale Hemphill of Vienna and Kathy and David Woodrum of West Paducah, Kentucky.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Mac and Esther McDuffee, of Metropolis; Gloria Angel both of Metropolis; and George and Claudia Faughn, of Hamletsburg.

Thomas is a 2000 graduate of Massac County High School, a 2002 graduate of West Kentucky Community and Technical College; a 2008 graduate of Mid-Continent University and a 2010 graduate of Murray State University. She is a business and marketing manager with Hemphill Construction.

The future groom is the grandson of Wilbert and Naomi Verbarg, of Vienna and Water and Kathryn Bunch, of Metropolis.

Hemphill is a 1998 graduate of Massac County High School. He is the owner/operator with Hemphill Construction.

The wedding is planned for Friday, Feb. 14 at 3:40 p.m. at the River Heritage Museum in Paducah, Kentucky.

All family and friends are invited to attend.
