Metropolis couple to wed September 21 in Paducah

Harry and Tanya Pollard of Metropolis announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kelsey Pollard, to Aaron Strong, son of Donald and Ada Strong of Metropolis.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Frances Helmig of Metropolis, the late Herbert Helmig and the late Urbie and Wanda Pollard.

Pollard is a 2014 graduate of Massac County High School and a 2019 graduate of Shawnee Community College with an associate degree in nursing. She is employed as a LPN at Metropolis Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Carole Logeman of Metropolis, the late Ervin Logeman and the late Kenneth and Ida Lee Strong.

Strong is a 2012 graduate of Massac County High School and is an operations administrator at FedEx in Paducah.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21 at Elliott Farms, located at 9655 Old Lovelaceville Rd. in Paducah. All family and friends are invited to attend.
