The Massac Circuit Court terminated 47 cases during August. There were 26 guilty pleas, five supervisions and 16 dismissals.

Felonies

n Kentrel M. Algee of Fairburn, Georgia, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of cannabis. He was sentenced to 30 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 18 months probation, fined $1000 plus costs and ordered to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

n Billy J. English of Brookport pleaded guilty to criminal damage. English was sentenced to 120 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 24 months probation, fined $500 plus costs, ordered to pay restitution of $2975, complete 30 hours of public service, complete treatment program, consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

n Austin M. Wilson, 204 W. 18th St., pleaded guilty to aggravated unlawful restraint. He was sentenced to four years with the Illinois Department of Corrections and to pay costs only.

n Wilson also pleaded guilty to violation of the sex offender register. He was sentenced to four years with the Illinois Department of Corrections, to run concurrent with previous charge, and to pay costs only.

n Jose Lopez of Paducah pleaded guilty to unlawful restraint. He was sentenced to 24 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 18 months probation and fined $1000 plus costs.

n Michael Kent Mitchell, 1209 E. Fifth St., pleaded guilty to aggravated domestic battery. He was sentenced to five years with the Illinois Department of Corrections and to pay costs only.

n Benjamin Turner, 503 E. 11th St., pleaded guilty to unlawful delivery of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to 120 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 36 months probation, fined $1000 plus costs, ordered to complete treatment program, consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

n Timothy P. Ashworth of Brookport pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of weapons by a felon. He was sentenced to five years with the Illinois Department of Corrections and to pays costs only.

n Haywood Wesley Jones of Paducah pleaded guilty to battery. He was sentenced to 30 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 12 months conditional discharge and fined $250 plus costs.

n Eric S. Ford, 208 W. 10th St., pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine. He was placed on 24 months probation, fined $500 plus costs, ordered to complete 30 hours of public service, complete treatment program, consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

n Suzette M. Henson of Brookport pleaded guilty to theft. She was sentenced to 90 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 24 months probation, fined $500 plus costs, ordered to consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis. Henson also pleaded guilty to aggravated battery. She was sentenced to 54 days in the Massac County Detention Center, to run concurrent with previous charge, placed on 24 months probation, fined $500 plus costs, ordered to consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

n Jeremy L. Shered of Carbondale pleaded pleaded guilty to forgery. He was sentenced to 30 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 30 months probation, fined $500 plus costs and ordered to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

n Xavier M. Smith, 408 W. 12th St., pleaded guilty to reckless discharge of a firearm. Smith was sentenced to 120 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 18 months probation, fined $500 plus costs and ordered to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

Misdemeanors

n Jeffery T. Lynch, 17 Faughn Lane, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. He was placed on 12 months conditional discharge and fined $200 plus costs.

n Israel C. Avila, 1610 Market St., pleaded guilty to domestic battery. He was placed on 12 months conditional discharge and fined $400 plus costs.

n Louis A. Cozzie, 1216 E. Seventh St., pleaded guilty to domestic battery. He was sentenced to 28 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 18 months probation, fined $500 plus costs, ordered to complete treatment program, consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

n Clifford Van Reed, 704 E. Seventh St., pleaded guilty to resisting a peace officer and criminal trespass. He was sentenced to 30 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 24 months probation, fined $500 plus costs, ordered to complete treatment program, consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

n Robert W. Wheeler, 807 E. Seventh St., was found guilty by jury to domestic battery. He was placed on 12 months probation, fined $400 plus costs and ordered to complete anger management classes.

n Andreanne N. Carnes-Winding, 2002 North Ave., pleaded guilty to obstructing a peace officer. She was placed on 12 months conditional discharge, fined $350 plus costs, ordered to consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

n David R. Simmons, 3661 Joppa Bypass Rd., pleaded guilty to retail theft. He was placed on 12 months conditional discharge, fined $300 plus costs and ordered to pay restitution of $2.86.

n Craig L. Montgomery, 307 E. Ninth St., pleaded guilty to domestic battery. He was sentenced to 54 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 18 months probation, fined $350 plus costs, ordered to complete treatment program, consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

n Titus D. Young of Brookport pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of cannabis. Young was placed on 12 months conditional discharge, fined $750 plus costs and ordered to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

n Cameron D. Shumpert of Paducah pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of cannabis. Shumpert was placed on 12 months conditional discharge, fined $500 plus costs and ordered to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

n Sean M. Hall, 126 E. Third St., pleaded guilty to battery. He was sentenced to 45 days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 18 months probation, fined $75 plus costs, ordered to consume no alcoholic beverages and to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.

n Gregory T. Taylor of Marion pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. He was sentenced to five days in the Massac County Detention Center, placed on 18 months conditional discharge, fined $500 plus costs and ordered to undergo blood and/or urine analysis.
