Austin Peay State University (APSU) in Clarksville, Tennessee recently announced scholarships awarded to two Metropolis residents.

Collin Fiorentini of Metropolis was awarded the presidential scholarship. The presidential scholarships are for freshman students who have a 3.0+ GPA and 29 ACT or 1290 SAT.

Fiorentini also received the APSU Provost Out-of-State Scholarship for high-achieving freshmen for the fall 2019 semester.

This scholarship is for out-of-state students who have a 3.0+ GPA and 26+ ACT or 1170+ SAT.

Courtney Bremer of Metropolis is the recipient of the Dean's Scholarship for high-achieving freshmen for the fall 2019 semester.

The dean's scholarships are for freshman students who have a 3.5+ GPA and 26 ACT or 1170 SAT.
