Two years ago, the owners of the Super Musuem began a project of placing personalized bricks on the side of the museum nearest the Superman Statue. The project, known as the Ham “Brick” Project after museum founder Jim Hambrick, has now sold over 200 bricks to community members and visitors.

This week, in honor of Father’s Day, those bricks are on sale for $65, normally $100.

This program is the primary fundraiser of the Super Museum and gives community members and fans a chance to be part of history. Proceeds help to cover the cost of ongoing renovations to the museum, updating displays and fund restorations of many of the items in the museum.

“It is our goal to provide visitors with the best possible museum experience and we wold like to be able to safely persevere and display items here in Metropolis for generations of fans to visit from around the world,” said Morgan Siebert, owner of the museum.
