SEMO announces fall 2020 dean’s list
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Several students from Metropolis have been named to the fall 2020 dean’s list at Southeast Missouri State University.
They are: Tristyn Allbritten, Kaylee Fraser, Nathaniel Henley, Melody Holt, Madison Miller and Ethan Smith-Short.
Students named to the list earned at least a 3.75 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, completed at least 12 hours of standard graded credit, achieved no grade below a B and received no failing grades in enrolled, credit/no credit or pass/fail courses.
Wessel graduates from Belmont
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Macy Wessel, of Metropolis, graduated summa cum laude from Belmont University with her bachelor’s degree in exercise science on Nov. 21 during one of the Nashville school’s socially-distanced commencement ceremonies.
Wessel was among more than 450 students who received degrees in December. Students who graduated with high honors completed a minimum of 30 credit hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of higher than 3.75.
