Donation assists library programs

Brenda Hill (second from left), circulation manager at the Metropolis Public Library, recently presented a program to the Kiwanis Club of Metropolis about the many programs and activities going on at the library, many of which are devoted to children. The extent and variety of the library's programs can be found on its website and Facebook page — or Following the meeting, Kiwanis donated $500 to the library's Little Wigglers and Little Sprouts programs. Making the presentation were club president-elect Mary Smith (left) and club president Carroll Duncan (right) to Hill and Geoff Crippen, the library's circulation and programming assistant.
