Hospital donates water bottles

Massac Memorial Hospital has supplied every student in the Joppa-Maple Grove school district with a water bottle. Lennis Thompson, MMH’s CEO, made the donation to Lori Jones, school health care provider, on Thursday, Aug. 26. Since water fountains are closed due to COVID, this marks the second year students have used water bottles. The district has purchased three new water filling stations with ESSER funds.
