-- Intended for last week --

I want to wish a happy fifth birthday to Braden Blanchard. It looked like an amazing party for an amazing little guy.

The Hillerman Baptist Church had a great turnout for its Thanksgiving dinner and singing. The community sure appreciates the outreach by the churches in the area.

Joppa Missionary Baptist Church's youth group spent a very chilly Saturday morning picking up over 70 bags of trash along Joppa Road. It is very much appreciated by the folks who travel that road. It was a lot of hard work done by the group. It was part of the Joppa River Sweep, since the river was so high for so long. It sure does look good.

I'm sending out a happy 49th anniversary to Possum and Vickie Stephens -- a couple of amazing folks right there, and loved by everyone.

Betty Lang also had a birthday this month. She stays busy helping all her children in fundraisers and is an awesome candy maker.

My brother, Les Mclelland, has a birthday this week. Happy birthday, little brother.

Tom and Pam's son, Douglas, had surgery this week and hopefully he will be feeling much better.

I have been enjoying the warmer temperatures. I hope they last until New Year's at least.

That's all I have this week folks. Just send me a message or holler with news, as I'm always looking. Have a great Thanksgiving next week.
