The Massac County Soil & Water Conservation District is offering a scholarship to local students who live in Massac County and attend Joppa High School or Massac County High School or who are home-schooled.
The deadline for 2023 applications is Saturday, April 1.
Students interested in a major related to the field of agriculture, conservation or natural resources are eligible to apply. Applications will be accepted from people enrolled as a senior at MCHS, JHS, home-schooled equivalent or Massac residents enrolled in a college/university.
Application guidelines are available from the counselors and the agriculture teachers at MCHS and JHS or at the Massac County SWCD office, 1438 W. 10th St., Metropolis.
