The Massac County Soil & Water Conservation District is offering a scholarship program to award a maximum of $1,000 (maximum amount will be awarded each year and will be divided evenly based on the number of eligible applicants, up to four total).

To be considered, the applicant must meet the following guidelines:

• Individuals enrolled as a senior at Massac County High School or Joppa High School or a Massac County resident enrolled in a college/university. Either must have a major related to the field of natural resources and/or ag-related studies.

• The student must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent thereof.

• The application must be typed and supporting documentation, including two letters of recommendation, must be attached.
