Massac Memorial Hospital (MMH) on Friday, will launch a COVID-19 hotline at 618-638-1344, which connects patients to a team of medical staff dedicated to addressing concerns individuals about symptoms associated with the new coronavirus. This line begins Friday at 7 a.m.

Anyone who calls this designated hotline will be connected to a staff member at MMH who can address concerns of any signs/symptoms of COVID-19.

Those determined to have a risk of infection will be given further instruction based on current Center for Disease Control recommendations.

The COVID-19 hotline is based at MMH and is staffed seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. beginning Friday. These hours are temporary and may be subject to change.

“The health and safety of our patients, employees and community are our top priority at MMH,” said Rick Goins, chief executive officer, adding, “We are launching this service to protect all involved and to make sure patients are receiving the appropriate level of care.”
